ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate a telehealth portal today to address the situation in Karuna.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, a telehealth portal is being set up with the help of the Ministry of Health and Information Technology (IT). Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the telehealth portal today.

The office says specialist doctors will be available to patients online on the telehealth portal.

Under this important initiative, doctors can voluntarily register online on this platform and recommend free diagnosis as well as treatment to patients.

Through the telehealth portal, citizens can ask questions about experts about Kovid-19 and also keep in touch with doctors by telephone so that they can get occasional information about the deadly epidemic.

It may be recalled that last month, the government introduced a program called 'Yaran-e-Watan' to hire Pakistani medical professionals abroad.

Babar Awan meets Prime Minister Imran Khan


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that PTI is committed to make national institutions strong and active. In this regard, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has a key role to play.

According to details, Dr. Babar Awan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Babar Awan presented a plan for training of young parliamentarians to the Prime Minister.

On the occasion, Babar Awan said that the aim of the training was to enable young parliamentarians to play an effective role in legislation.

Appreciating the legislative training program for young parliamentarians, the Prime Minister said that PTI was committed to make the national institutions strong and functional, in which the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs had a key role to play.

Imran Khan said that the positive response of the international community and investors on Sukuk bonds is a sign of confidence and they are fully planning for the future in the context of Karuna.

He further said that the plan would address the situation and provide relief to the people, ensuring implementation of security measures during Eid.
