Decline in Central Contract, Sarfraz Ahmed broke the silence

KARACHI: Former national cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed has broken his silence on the issue of demotion in the central contract.

According to the report of PZ News, former captain of the national cricket team Sarfraz Ahmed broke the silence by not getting A category of Central Contract. The PCB had demoted Sarfraz from A to B category.

The former captain says that fluctuations are a part of any cricketer's career. For me, A, B or C category of central contract does not mean anything but I am a person who is thankful to Allah in all circumstances.

He said that his goal is not to get the Central Contract categories but to return to the national cricket team. It is easy to get anything but it is difficult to maintain it.

Sarfraz Ahmed said that the central contract includes the best cricketers of Pakistan who also have a group of great players in B category but their goal is to return to the national team as soon as possible. They will return to the team as soon as possible.

He termed Shaheen Shah Afridi, who got his place in A category, as a talented cricketer and said that he is a good fast bowler and his excellent performance last year is the main reason for his progress in the central contract.
