Host Asia Cup, PSL 6 will not be played?

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has claimed that if the Pakistan Cricket Board postpones PSL 6 to host the Asia Cup, the Indian team will play the Asia Cup.

According to details, an official of the Board of Cricket Control in India said that there is no scope for the Asia Cup this year, so the Pakistan Cricket Board has recommended to host the Asia Cup next year instead of the Pakistan Super League.

Talking to IANS, a BCCI official said that the Indian team will not be available for the Asia Cup in October-November this year.

According to the Indian official, the statement made by PCB chief executive Wasim Khan regarding the Asia Cup this year is not in line with ours and our team will not play in the Asia Cup.

According to the Indian official, if the PCB can postpone the PSL next year, the Indian team will be available to play in the Asia Cup during this period, otherwise the Asia Cup does not seem possible because it is impossible for us.

It is to be noted that PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said that he would host the Asia Cup 2020 as per the schedule. According to the report, the PCB is considering holding the Asia Cup in UAE or Sri Lanka.

On the other hand, the Indian board had already refused to play in the Asia Cup on the pretext of not getting permission from its government.
